Diffuser, .5 HP Full Rate and .75 HP Uprated, Compatible with Jacuzzi Pumps — an aftermarket diffuser dimensioned to drop into Jacuzzi circulation pumps without modification. In service it converts the velocity leaving the impeller into pressure and directs flow into the discharge. This is a consumable in practice: the sealing lip and locating tabs wear, letting water recirculate inside the pump instead of moving downstream. Ours is molded in reinforced thermoplastic.
