The Hydro Air Union, 1-Inch x 1-Inch, Slip is an aftermarket union / fitting built to replace the original component in Balboa equipment-pad plumbing. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. Replacement is routine: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic.
