Hi-Temp Union, 2-Inch 2MIP x 2-Inch PVC, for WhisperFlo & IntelliFlo (2-Pack) — an aftermarket union / fitting dimensioned to drop into CMP equipment-pad plumbing without modification. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. This is a consumable in practice: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
