The Pump Base, Compatible with Rule Cover Pump 1800 is an aftermarket cover / lid built to replace the original component in Rule circulation pumps. In service it closes and seals the housing while allowing access for service. Replacement is routine: the sealing face distorts and fasteners corrode, so the cover no longer seats evenly.
