The Small Pool Strainers (2-Pack) is a multi-fit strainer / trap sized to the dimensions shared by several major American pool equipment brands. In service it holds the debris basket ahead of the pump and keeps the suction side sealed. This is a consumable in practice: the housing and sealing face craze with chemical exposure until the pump struggles to hold prime. Ours is dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
