The Valve Cover O-Ring, 5-1/4-Inch ID, 1/8-Inch Cross Section, Replacement for Pentair is an aftermarket o-ring built to replace the original component in Pentair valve assemblies. In service it forms the static seal between two mating components under compression. It is a wear item: rubber hardens, flattens and cracks with heat, chlorine and UV exposure, and a failed o-ring is the most common source of air leaks and drips. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber.
