This diverter valve is a compatible replacement for the Jandy original, supplied as the 3-Port Valve, 1.5-2-Inch, CPVC, Compatible with Jandy Valves. In service it splits or combines flow between two circuits and lets the operator balance suction or return lines. This is a consumable in practice: the internal seals stiffen and the handle becomes hard to turn or stops holding position.
