Product overview

Strainer Basket, Compatible with Astral — an aftermarket pump basket dimensioned to drop into Astral circulation pumps without modification. In service it catches leaves and debris before they reach the impeller. This is a consumable in practice: the plastic becomes brittle from chlorine and sun exposure and the ribs crack, allowing debris straight into the pump. Ours is molded in reinforced polypropylene.
