The Impeller with Screw and Back-Up Plate O-Ring, 2-1/2 HP, Replacement for Jandy FloPro VS Pumps is an aftermarket o-ring built to replace the original component in Jandy circulation pumps. In service it forms the static seal between two mating components under compression. It is a wear item: rubber hardens, flattens and cracks with heat, chlorine and UV exposure, and a failed o-ring is the most common source of air leaks and drips. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
