The Volute to Bracket Bolt and Nut, Stainless Steel, Compatible with Polaris PB4-60 Pump is an aftermarket volute / housing built to replace the original component in Polaris circulation pumps. In service it forms the pressure chamber around the impeller and directs flow to the discharge port. This is a consumable in practice: threaded ports and mounting bosses crack, usually from over-tightened plumbing or freeze damage. Ours is molded in reinforced thermoplastic and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
