The Key Cover and Handle Assembly for Multiport Valves and Filters, Black is an aftermarket multiport valve built to replace the original component in Hayward valve assemblies. In service it routes flow between filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate and closed positions from a single control. It is a wear item: the key seal wears and the detent mechanism loses positive location, so positions no longer seal cleanly. Ours is dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
