This pump lid / trap cover is a compatible replacement for the Jandy original, supplied as the FloPro FHPM Pump Lid and Debris Basket Bundle. In service it seals the strainer pot and lets the operator see and clear the basket without breaking plumbing. Replacement is routine: the clear plastic crazes and clouds with chemical exposure, and the sealing surface distorts so the pump loses prime. Ours is molded in clear polycarbonate.
