This union / fitting is a compatible replacement for the WaterTech original, supplied as the Pole Adapter Assembly for Leaf Vac, Compatible with WaterTech. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. This is a consumable in practice: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic.
