Product overview
This gasket is a compatible replacement for the Raypak original, supplied as the Flat Header Gasket, 3/4-Inch ID, 9-Pack, for 185A, 265A, 335A and 405A Heaters, Replacement for Raypak. In service it seals the joint between two housing faces and keeps the circuit pressure-tight. It is a wear item: the material compresses permanently and loses its rebound, so the joint begins to weep under pressure. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
