Product overview

This gasket is a compatible replacement for the Sta-Rite original, supplied as the Igniter and Gasket Kit for Max-E-Therm Heaters, Compatible with Sta-Rite. In service it seals the joint between two housing faces and keeps the circuit pressure-tight. It is a wear item: the material compresses permanently and loses its rebound, so the joint begins to weep under pressure. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber.
