Product overview
The Diffuser for 18-Inch, 20-Inch and 22-Inch Sand Filters, Replacement for Pentair is an aftermarket diffuser built to replace the original component in Pentair valve assemblies. In service it converts the velocity leaving the impeller into pressure and directs flow into the discharge. This is a consumable in practice: the sealing lip and locating tabs wear, letting water recirculate inside the pump instead of moving downstream. Ours is molded in reinforced thermoplastic and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
