Standard Skimmer Basket, Replacement for Astral — an aftermarket skimmer basket dimensioned to drop into Astral skimmer and cleaning circuits without modification. In service it collects floating debris at the skimmer throat before it enters the suction line. It is a wear item: repeated removal and UV exposure crack the rim and handle. Ours is molded in reinforced polypropylene and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
