Self-Aligning Union, 2-1/2-Inch Slip, Compatible with Waterway — an aftermarket union / fitting dimensioned to drop into Waterway equipment-pad plumbing without modification. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. Replacement is routine: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
