This clamp is a compatible replacement for the Pentair original, supplied as the Cam and Ramp Clamp for SuperFlo Inground Pool/Spa Pump, Black. In service it holds the two halves of the filter tank together against internal pressure. Replacement is routine: the band corrodes and the tensioning hardware seizes, which is a serious safety issue on a pressure vessel.
