This cover / lid is a compatible replacement for the Aquador original, supplied as the Skimmer Face Plate and Cover for SP1084 Skimmer Series, Replacement for Hayward. In service it closes and seals the housing while allowing access for service. This is a consumable in practice: the sealing face distorts and fasteners corrode, so the cover no longer seats evenly.
