This cover / lid is a compatible replacement for the Little Giant original, supplied as the Intake Screen Cover for NK-2 and X-18 Pumps, Compatible with Little Giant. In service it closes and seals the housing while allowing access for service. Replacement is routine: the sealing face distorts and fasteners corrode, so the cover no longer seats evenly. Ours is dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
